ABOUT DELORES RANGEL
A Lifetime Commitment
to Delray Beach

Delores Rangel is a frontline problem-solver and consensus builder who spent almost 3 decades in Delray Beach City Hall.
Delores is the proud founder of "Project Holiday," an initiative inspired by her daughter's overseas service in the military. City hall staff, elected officials and residents helped collect, pack and ship donated items to servicemen and women who were not able to come home for the holidays.
In 2016, Delores was presented the George Washington Honor Medal for her work on Project Holiday. This national award is bestowed upon nominees who exemplify civic responsibility and whose efforts bring out the best of the American spirit. Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower presented the first award in 1949.
Delores and her husband Gabino have called Delray Beach home for 59 years. They have 3 grown children, 2 dogs and are raising their 17-year-old grandson. Delores Rangel's unwavering dedication to Delray Beach, insight into City Hall and proven leadership is just what we need now.
